Chiara Consonni won, crossing the finish line together with her teammates Silvia Persico and Eleonora Gasparrini, second and third respectively. The triumph was completed by young Federica Venturelli's fourth place.

A triumphant day for the team directed by Davide Arzeni, who confirmed the predictions as the favourite team in the race held on the Terme di Caracalla circuit. The four riders of UAE Team ADQ went on the attack together with Giada Borghesi of BTC Lubiana Zhiraf and Elisa Valtulini of Bepink. An action that left no hope for the rest of the peloton.

Eleonora Gasparrini then attempted a solo sprint and in the finale waited for the return of her teammates Persico and Consonni, with whom she crossed the finish line on parade. A choral success that takes on even greater significance because it also came with the collaboration of four athletes from the UAE Development Team, in addition to the already named Federica Venturelli, there were also Beatrice Caudera, Emma Redaelli, and Sara Fiorin.

After the success Chiara Consonni said: "I finally managed to win after a series of placings. What a thrill to win in Rome alongside family and people who love me! I would like to thank the whole team for all the hard work that made this possible, including the young Development Team members. We managed to make the selection we wanted and we made the cut respecting the predictions. I feel really good and I hope this victory is an important step in a special year”.
