Tough day today at La Vuelta Femenina for our riders who struggled against their rivals and strong winds. 

At the end of the seventh stage of 138.6km from San Esteban de Gormaz to Sigüenza Karlijn Swinkels climbed onto the podium again to wear the leader's jersey in the mountain classification. 

Swinkels herself and Erica Magnaldi finished in 25th and 26th position. The stage was won by Marianne Vos (Team Visma | Lease a Bike), while Demi Vollering (SD Worx) remains leader of the GC. 

Tomorrow is the last and most difficult stage, 89.5 km from Madrid to Valdesquí.
