Silvia Persico wins the Grand Prix du Morbihan Femmes in Plumelec (95.7km) in France.

Another victory for UAE Team ADQ on the roads of France. Less than 24 hours after Eleonora Gasparrini, today it was Silvia Persico's turn to win the Grand Prix du Morbihan Femmes in Plumelec (95.7km).

Again today a super team effort. Dominika Wlodarczyk and Gasparrini entered the breakaway of the best, which consisted of a total of eight riders. After a few moments of studying, the athletes found an agreement and gained over 40 seconds on the main group.

Then Persico alone got out of the group and caught up with the leading group before the final lap. The finale was perfectly led and then came the winning sprint of Silvia Persico, who celebrated her first victory of the season.

Silvia Persico said after her victory: “First of all I have to say thank you to all my teammates because both yesterday and today we raced very well. Today this breakaway of eight riders with Gasparrini and Wlodarczyk had gone away and I was surprised and then I tried to get back to the front on the climb to the finish and then on the last lap I also moved into the leading group. Both Dominika and Eleonora did a great job for me and I managed to win the sprint. But once again I have to say thank you to all my teammates. I'm happy with this first victory of mine, I've been waiting for it for a long time and now let's get on with it”.

In the end Gasparrini finished seventh and Wlodarczyk ninth.
