With the third and final stage of the Tour de Romandie Féminin today in Genève, Switzerland, the 2022 season of UAE Team ADQ came to an end.

With the third and final stage of the Tour de Romandie Féminin today in Genève, Switzerland, the 2022 season of UAE Team ADQ came to an end. Laura Tomasi and Sophie Wright finished in the top 20 of the day after 147.6km.

It was an unlucky race, but one that doesn't take away from the team's joy at a season on the road. More good things have happened in the last few days. Here are the words of General Manager Rubens Bertogliati: "Our season went very well, especially in the first part when excellent results arrived. The second half, however, also due to some injuries and physical problems that put the team under stress, did not go as we had hoped, but this is also part of the sport and I must say that even in the last period we took some satisfaction away”.

In short, a positive start: “For us it was our first year, we were starting from scratch and it was an appetiser to lay the foundations of what we are going to build during the coming winter with a new staff and a renewed roster to make us ready for 2023 and to take the name we carry higher and higher,” Bertogliati concludes.
