Track Arab Championships: 6 medals for Safiya
Our Emirati rider Safiya Alsayeh returned home from the Track Arab Championships in Cairo with a beautiful haul of 6 medals.
Our Emirati rider Safiya Alsayeh returned home from the Track Arab Championships in Cairo with a beautiful haul of 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medal. Truly great performances for her.
The first gold was won on October 5th in the 500m race followed by a silver in the Team Sprint.
On Thursday 6th October she won two silver medals, one in the Team Pursuit and the other in the Keirin, and also a bronze medal in the Elimination race
She ended the Championship with a second gold in the Women's Elite Individual Pursuit race.
