The UAE Tour Women ended in Abu Dhabi Breakwater today with Chiara Consonni finishing fourth after 105km.

The UAE Tour Women ended in Abu Dhabi Breakwater today with Chiara Consonni finishing fourth after 105km. The peloton was screwed by the last survivor of the day's breakaway, stage winner Amber Kraak (FDJ - Suez), and Chiara finished third in the sprint behind Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx) and Daria Pikulik (Human Powered Health).

Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx) won the final GC of the UAE Tour Women 2024 where Silvia Persico finished eighth.

Chiara Consonni, who was twice on the stage podium in her team home race, commented at the end of the stage: "We close this UAE Tour Women with some regret for not being able to win, but overall I think we did the best we could do. We know that we still have a lot of work to do, to improve the feeling with my teammates, especially for the sprints, and I am confident that we can get better results in the next races”.

The fourth stage had started in the morning in the impressive setting of the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum, which also hosted the presentation of the teams and the start of the race.
