UAE Development Team, back to racing at Vuelta CV Féminas
February 2, 2024
After a good debut last Sunday in Almería, the UAE Development Team athletes will return to compete in Spain. Unlike during the first race, this time UAE Development Team will line up at the start with six athletes (and not eight).
At the start of the Vuelta CV Féminas will once again be New Zealand's Lola Bryson-Boe (who was the team's top finisher last Sunday), Estonian U23 national champion Elisabeth Ebras, and Italians Francesca Pellegrini, Federica Pellegrini, and Emma Redaelli.
Finally, there is great excitement to also witness the official debut in UAE Development Team jersey of 19-year-old German Hannah Kunz who will complete the Line Up.
"We do not expect to be in top shape in this race - explains Davide Gani, UAE Development Team sport director together with Aida Nuño Palacio and Giuseppe Lanzoni, "because we are at the end of a hard training camp. The meaning of this camp and these first two races is to grow and not to have the top performance. We will try to do our best to be with the best athletes on the climbs."
