Busy day in the first stage of the Tour de Suisse Women. 

Our riders had to contend with bad and cold weather and a short (58.6km) but demanding course in the mountains around Villars-sur-Ollon.

Erica Magnaldi was the best of our team, 23rd. 

The stage was won solo by Demi Vollering (SD Worx), who with Gaia Realini (Lidl-Trek) caught and overtook Elise Chabbey, who remained on the lone attack for almost the entire race. 

Tomorrow's second stage, an individual time trial.
