Eighth place for Eleonora Gasparrini who also won the White Jersey as leader of the Youth Classification at RideLondon Classique.

Eighth place for Eleonora Gasparrini who also won the White Jersey as leader of the Youth Classification at the end of the first stage of the RideLondon Classique, 159.2 km from Saffron Walden to Colchester. 

All of the team's riders made their contributions during the race to close the gap on the day's breakaway and then in the finale to bring Gasparrini and Consonni to the front of the peloton, who, however, remained a bit behind. 

The race was won by Lorena Wiebes of SD Worx who is also the first GC leader. 

Tomorrow is the second stage of 142.6 km in Maldon.
