The third stage of the Giro d'Italia Women, 113 km from Sabbioneta to Toano, saw the first uphill finish.

The third stage of the Giro d'Italia Women, 113 km from Sabbioneta to Toano, saw the first uphill finish, which was also very demanding due to the great heat. 

Our riderss fought and defended themselves as best they could, waiting for the next stages more suited to their characteristics.

The best was Erica Magnaldi, who entered the top 30.

The stage was won by Niamh Fisher-Black (Team SD Worx - Protime), while Elisa Longo Borghini (Lidl-Trek) keeps the pink jersey. 

Tomorrow the fourth stage from Imola to Urbino of 134 km.
