Another demanding day for our team today at the Classic Brugge-De Panne (163.1km). Ninth place for Chiara Consonni.

Another demanding day for our team today at the Classic Brugge-De Panne (163.1km).

First a crash involved Marta Bastianelli who came back with the help of her teammates. Then the crosswind and echelon split the peloton, our riders stayed behind and forced to chase in the last 40km. 

Ahead was a small group of ten riders with many of the day's favourites in it. 

The UAE Team ADQ didn't find the collaboration of the other teams to close the gap, Chiara Consonni tried a desperate solo attempt, but nothing to do. 

The lead group's advantage increased. In the finale a crash put two contenders out of the running. Meanwhile, Pfeiffer Georgi went on the lone attack and went on to win the race. Behind Elisa Balsamo won the sprint for second place ahead of Lorena Wiebes. 

The bunch sprint at 4'14" was won by Chiara Consonni, who finished in eighth place.
