It was crazy Amstel Gold Race Ladies Edition. After about 56 km from the start, the race was stopped for more than an hour due to an accident between a police motorbike and a car out of the race.

After the long wait and the section of the accident remaining unpassable, the organisers decided to reduce the race to just three laps full gas on the final circuit.

Very high rhythms, a series of attacks and our athletes did well. On the last passage up the Cauberg climb, the small group of the best was selected, who then competed for victory.

Eleonora Gasparrini was also part of it, but she was a little closed in the final sprint and took a positive sixth place, repaying the great work of the entire team. The final sprint was also crazy with Lorena Wiebes celebrating too early and being mocked at the finish line by Marianne Vos.
