UAE TEAM ADQ

After two months, the growth path of the UAE Development Team continues thanks to the skill of its athletes. In fact, in the race in Buttrio (Italy) the girls directed by Andrea Mariani competed with great personality, courage and intelligence, helping each other. The work of Yuliia Biriukova, Beatrice Caudera, Elisabeth Ebras, Sara Fiorin, Francesca Pellegrini, Emma Redaelli and Gaia Tormena was perfect. In the last kms the UAE Development Team attacked, stayed at the front of the group and fought back to all the attacks to bring the best athletes to the sprint.
In the last climb positioned about 4 km from the finish, a group of about twenty athletes formed at the head of the race. In this group were Yuliia Biriukova, Francesca Pellegrini and Sara Fiorin. In the final Sara Fiorin conquered her first Top 10 of the season finishing the race in fifth position. The sprint was instead won by the Italian Silvia Zanardi.

Next week the UAE Development Team will be in Italy again. The goal will always be the same: grow and learn to be a team. The athletes who will race in Piasco will be Anastasia Carbonari, Beatrice Caudera, Carlotta Cipressi, Sara Fiorin, Francesca Pellegrini, Federica Piergiovanni, Emma Redaelli and Linda Zanetti.
