UAE TEAM ADQ

A very hard week for the UAE Development Team that will participate in five races in ten days. The main goals will be to improve team spirit, create a real group and interpret the race in the best possible way.

After the silver medal in the individual time trial, there is great curiosity to watch the race of Zahra Hussain, the athlete from the United Arab Emirates who will try to win the National Championship on the morning of Sunday 05 March.
 
On the same day, another interesting appointment is the debut of Lara Gillespie in the UAE Development Team jersey. The Irish athlete - holder of the new Irish record of 4.16.877 in the team pursuit - will race together with Elisabeth Ebras, Sara Fiorin, Emma Redaelli, Gaia Tormena and Beatrice Caudera at Porec Trophy Ladies in Croatia.

Also on Sunday 5 March Yuliia Biriukova, Carlotta Cipressi, Francesca Pellegrini, Federica Piergiovanni, Linda Zanetti and Sophia Zwaan will race in the first race in Italy of the season (Trofeo Oro in Euro in Tuscany). 

In the next week the UAE Development Team will be involved in two other races: the Trofeo Ponente in Rosa (from 7 to 11 March) in Italy and the Drentse Acht van Westerveld on 11 March in Holland. These are the probable Line Up (changes are possible):

Trofeo Ponente in Rosa: Yuliia Biriukova, Anastasia Carbonari, Carlotta Cipressi, Francesca Pellegrini, Federica Piergiovanni, Linda Zanetti.
Drentse Acht: Beatrice Caudera, Lara Gillespie, Lauren Perry, Emma Redealli, Sophia Zwaan and Karolina Kumiega (elite).
