Second victory of the season for Eleonora Gasparrini who sprinted to victory today in La Classique Morbihan, in France.

After 114.7km, at the finish line in Josselin the Italian rider finished ahead of Marta Lach (Ceratizit-WNT), third place for Jade Wiel (FDJ - Suez).

A great teamwork finalised by the fast sprint of Eleonora Gasparrini who confirms her excellent moment.

Eleonora Gasparrini tells us how the race went and her great satisfaction: "Right from the start there were a few attacks, but we always remained in control as a team and then the decisive factor was the very technical final circuit, to be repeated four times, with the short climb to the finish. The slightly dirty road and the rain made it a bit dangerous and I have to say that my teammates were very good at keeping me in front and out of danger. In the last 20 kilometres it was me, Dominika (Wlodarczyk) and Silvia (Persico) at the front and the two of them tried to attack several times, but nobody could get away. In the finale they were then perfect. Dominika took the lead at the foot of the climb, Silvia set the pace for the entire climb and then Lach started her sprint at 170 metres to go, I knew that she tended to go uphill so I immediately went to her wheel, waited for the right moment and in the last 50 metres I opened the gas and took the win. I am very happy with my victory, but I have to thank the whole team very much because the girls were really good, we raced very well and I am happy to have seen some of them coming back from injuries to race well".

The same team with Eleonora Gasparrini, Elizabeth Holden, Karolina Kumiega, Silvia Persico, Dominika Wlodarczyk, Elisabeth Ebras will compete again tomorrow for the Grand Prix du Morbihan Femmes (1.1) with start at 8:50 and finish around 11:25.
